Casa do Rio is a sustainable holiday hideaway in the middle of the wild Alentejo region in Portugal.  Not far from the Spanish border and about a 2-hour drive from the cities of Lisbon and Porto, Casa do Rio offers pure peace and nature. The house has a very special architecture by the Swiss-Portuguese Bureau WERKatelier which combines the walls of an old ruin with modern minimalistic design.
